Long distance relationships...

As the crisp autumn season settles over the Big Apple, gorgeous shades of orange, red, and yellow illuminate the entire city, creating the calm before the storm. Coming from LA, it's such a delight to be able to witness an actual changing of seasons, and my favorite, hands down, is the beautiful transition from summer to autumn, when the peak of the fall foliage shines through.

Relationships are something that isn't supposed to make you lose yourself, in the sense that you lose your ability to do things on your own if things fall to pieces. People tend to forget that just because you're with someone and begin to do things as a "we" instead of just "you" that you completely forget how to do things on your own comfortably.

Hi there friends...okay so this is a rather random post but I was swept up with inspiration this morning when I heard this song by my friend and local singer/songwriter, Naomi LaViolette! I'm totally enamored with it and it has been playing over and over again on my iTunes. I can't get enough of the lyrics - which she wrote herself, by the way - yeah, I know, seriously talented!
