Last night’s rock and roll party was awesome. I enjoyed the night with some great music played by my talented friends and colleagues, a cold beer and hangouts. Company parties are the best!
If Only. This movie has always been one of my favorite romantic movies. It never failed to make my cry over and over again. I have seen this movie countless times.
If you love someone, don’t wait for another day to appreciate them, to show them that you love them. Every day is our chance for our time on earth is very limited.
Love.Love.Love.
Few of my favorite scenes in the movie: /heartmelting
~~~Sam singing her composition
~~~ Ian expressing his love for Sam
Watch it and you will know what I’m talking about.
Hello everybody! I have shared from the past about the music video (teaser version) my cousins were making. Here is the whole music video, it is ready. It is fun to watch them, they were just kids then playing toys and now they’ve grown so much that they can sing and act. See for yourself!
I’m amused and feel so old. Hahaha! Enjoy the rest of your day. -Guen
Hello all! I couldn’t help but share. I couldn’t stop from listening to it over and over again. I couldn’t wait of what’s the finale. I just couldn’t. Haha!
A few days ago, three of my talented cousins decided to exchange talents. I wasn’t there to witness the recording part. If I was? I would have taken photos of the microphone and the headset they were operating. And then I would have better words to express to all of you how innovative they were. But from the descriptions they gave and the expression of their faces when they told me about it; it sounded awesome. I can imagine how funny and great it was. A state of the art music equipment. Comment from Gilles (who grew up in France), “Only in the Philippines!”.
From my Cousin Kent’s FB comments:
*Scotch tape roll and socks as the “Pop-Filter”
Headphone microphone as the “Studio Microphone”
Tripod as the “Microphone Stand”
iPod earphones as the “Studio Headphones”
What do you think? Pretty cool, huh!
At a later part, when I got to my grandparents’ house, they were in the process of filming the music video, and I was there behind the scenes, taking photos of the props and of the location and of them.
Kenny – Kent – Gilles: ready to start!!!
Filming…
Haha! Gilles can’t memorize his part, so cheat sheet was placed on Lola’s orchid plants.
The funny part was the cheat sheet. The song expresses a message and Gilles has to show those emotions on the camera. Sometimes, when he needed to face up and down, that white little paper transfers from the orchid plant to the ground and vice versa. Imagine how many cuts that would be. Hehe. But we/they had a great time.
Here’s a sneak peak of the music video. I know, I know is too short but what more could I ask? A teaser is always a teaser. One thing I know for sure is I’m very anxious to see the final video. I will share them to you as soon as my cousins upload it in youtube.
How can I not share one of the best nights of my life?
Last March 31, my highschool best friends and I were very fortunate to see the Hanson brothers performed our favorite songs live. Gosh! Felt like teenage years, singing and dancing the ever popular songs, ‘Mmmbop’ and ‘Where’s The Love’.
I was lost with words when I saw Isaac, Taylor and Zac with their instruments, and played their original songs. They were amazing on stage, so talented and gorgeous. They made everyone in the Philippines so happy, that includes me, of course. After 10+ long years, finally, I got to see them in flesh.

Our happy faces during the concert. We got so tired after all the shouting, jumping and singing. But all was worth it.
To the Hanson brothers, thank you for making every teenager’s dream (ten+ years ago) come true.

Cassette tapes were very popular when I was younger. Haha! And yes, I have a collection of those way back. My father bought me my own cassette player, it made my sleeping at night worthwhile. I used to play one album night after night after night. My cassette player before was placed on my headboard, technically the floor, for I love to sleep on a mattress (on the floor) in my old room at my mom’s house. I couldn’t sleep if there’s no music playing. And I can remember my mom yelling at me late at night and say ‘guendolen, lower down the volume’. Haha! If you’ve met my mom, you know how she sounds like. Ma, I can now understand why, it is annoying. Like, how it annoys me sometimes at my place when neighbors start to play very loud music in my sleeping time.
I dont have my old cassette player anymore. I am not sure if it is still in my mom’s house, if is, then I don’t know if is still working. Is okay though, I don’t have my cassette tapes anymore. I have few of my old time favorites in CDs and MP3s, but not all.
Today, I listened to Hanson’s Middle of Nowhere album in grooveshark. Gosh! I can still sing along with them. I can’t believe I can still remember most of the lyrics of all the songs. I’ve always dreamed of meeting them or seeing them playing live.
Thanks grooveshark! By the way, I am not a singer, but my voice sounds better when I’m inside the shower.
