HELLO!!! Welcome to guenbt {dot} com!

We are together now! We got married! This is our first married photo at home, right after the ceremony. (funny faces)

After 4 long years of waiting, we’ve finally decided to be together every day. 🙂 I recently moved in this beautiful country (Oregon,USA) last Christmas 2014 and it has been amazing. Now that I’m here, I’ll get rid of the blog title: “together & apart” as it doesn’t suit our story anymore. The husband will no longer be posting on the blog. Why? This is what he said:

We are together now, you already know what I’m up to.

Haha! 😀

I’ve already visited a few places in the Pacific Northwest, and it has been a wonderful experience. So far I am loving it here except for the cold weather. It’s tough! But I’m slowly adapting to it. Aside from that, I learned a new hobby, knitting and crocheting. And I’m totally addicted to yarns, needles, hooks, all crafty tools, etc.

So that’s the latest! Hopefully you will stay tuned. I will be sharing my new journey as a wife and a beginner knitter.

Before Moving to Oregon

WHO: GuenBt & The Dogs

The word “guenbt” is derived from our names. Our blog is called together and apart as we are learning how to live our life 7,000 miles away from each other. And staying connected in many ways we know how.

WHERE: Portland, Oregon | Cebu, Phils.

He lives in Oregon.

I’m from Cebu, one of the beautiful island in the Philippines.

WHAT: Life. Love. Photography. Fashion. Travel. DIY

We’ll be blogging about many things randomly. I share what I’m up to in this cozy little island and he shares what he’s up to in Portland.

We will also share our travels together where we make the most out of everything — dine, drink, take photos and explore.

Thanks for visiting and enjoy!

  2. Hi Guenny, Thank you for looking into my doublepointedlove blog site. I’m a newbie at blogging and I just don’t quite get it yet. I started this blog to meet new people who enjoy knitting and crocheting. I find it to be very adventurous and somewhat addicting. I saw you mentioned The Red Scarf Project it looks like something I would be interested in viewing. I look forward to reading more of your posts.

    1. Hello Melissa! My pleasure, it is very nice to meet you here. Blogging is a hobby for me, there is so much to learn everyday. But what I like the most is really getting to know other people without the need of being in one place. You should join the Red Scarf Project, you will enjoy it. I am a knitting addict. Hehe. Anyway, thanks again. Talk to you soon! 🙂

  3. Hi and thank you for liking my blog.
You might consider joining Ravelry, if you are not already a member. It is a knitting and crochet community with over 2 million members. There are tons of patterns on the site, some free, some not. There are also quite a few groups, too.
Just thought you might like Ravelry, since you are new to knitting and crochet. It is chock full of ideas.
